Nut trays

Preparation

Put white syrup, soft brown sugar, salt, butter and vanilla in a pan and heat.

Let cool to below 70°C.

Add the eggs in 4 portions and whisk until smooth with the hand blender.

Assembly

Roll out the dough to 2.5mm and cover small trays 5 cm in diameter with it.

Fill with nuts and cover with soya apperij. Fill the covered trays with mixed nuts.

Top with the syrup and bake at 150°C for 30 minutes.

Decorate the edges with icing sugar after baking.
