Technique for drying vegetables and fruit
Equipment needed- Drying machine or oven
- Airtight container
- Silica beads
Ingredients
Step-by-step
Peel the vegetables and chop into desired shape.
Place the vegetables on a drying rack.
Dry the vegetables under 50°C (Tip: the drying time depends on the vegetable, see file).
Store the vegetables in an airtight container with silica beads.
You can use it to add some crunch to a dish or, for example, to grind into powder.
