Technique for preserving pearl onions in Debic Roast and Fry

Step-by-step

Clean the pearl onions and garlic, put them in a pan, and add the Debic Roast & Fry until they are covered.

Add the thyme, garlic, and bay leaf.

Heat to 80˚C over low heat. Tip: Cooking time depends on the vegetables.

Process further by briefly frying the pearl onions in a pan and processing the garlic in, for example, an aioli.

This technique also works well on potatoes. Wash the potatoes and cut into desired shape. Add the Debic Roast & Fry along with herbs and garlic. Cook the preserves in the oven at 80°C.
Tips
- Make sure that the temperature does not exceed 90˚C
- Roast & Fry can be replaced with olive oil, duck or goose fat, butter
